Refund Policy

Last updated: August 13, 2026

This page is the readable summary of how refunds work. The contractual version lives in our Terms of Service (“Plans, trials, and billing”); if the two ever differ, the Terms prevail.

The 30-day money-back guarantee

Your first purchase carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. If AlreadyBack is not what you expected, refund it yourself — one click in your dashboard, any time within 30 days of that first charge. No forms, no hoops, no asking.

The free trial comes first

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start, and nothing is charged before the trial ends — so your first charge only ever happens after two weeks of real use, and the 30-day guarantee starts on top of that.

Annual plans

Annual renewals are refundable within 30 days of the renewal charge. If a renewal goes through and you did not mean to continue, the same one-click path refunds it — no conversation required.

Monthly plans

Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time; your plan then runs to the end of the paid period and does not renew. Outside the first-purchase guarantee above, partial months are not refunded.

Upgrades and downgrades

  • Upgrades are prorated immediately — you pay only the difference for the remainder of the billing period.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period; nothing is refunded mid-period because nothing extra is charged.

One click, from your dashboard

Refunds are self-serve. Open Billing in your dashboard: every charge shows its refund eligibility right on the page, and inside an eligible window — a first purchase within 30 days, or an annual renewal within 30 days of the charge — the Refund button is live. Click it, confirm, done. No questions asked: no email to write, no case to open, no one to convince, nothing to justify.

The refund is issued the moment you confirm — you see it on screen and get a receipt by email. Your bank then returns the money to your original payment method, typically within 3-5 business days (about 48 hours on PayPal). Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Outside an eligible window the button says so plainly — email support@alreadyback.com and a human will look at it.

Where consumer law says more

Where the consumer-protection law that applies to you grants more than this policy does, the law prevails.
